The ABC has announced the launch of ABC News Digital News.
It will be available for digital streaming and will be part of the ABC News app and the ABC iPlayer.ABC News has announced that it will now also be offering a series of new podcasts called ABC News Podcasts, featuring original interviews and interviews with ABC News reporters, anchors, correspondents and producers.

“These podcasts will be the first of many, and they’ll be part and parcel of the exciting and growing ABC News digital experience, which we will be sharing with you soon.”ABC News Digital has been in the works for some time, and is designed to bring a fresh and distinctive approach to the digital news industry, as well as offer a fresh look at the ABC.ABCNews.com will be updated throughout the day with the latest news and current events.ABC’s iPlayer will also have a new look, with a new selection of content.ABC iPlayer has been a cornerstone of ABCNews.org since its inception in 2011.
Since then, the iPlayer is the most popular ABC app with more than 4 million downloads.
ABCNews iPlayer provides the ABC with the ability to provide up-to-the-minute information across multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop and on the web.
The ABC iPlayback service lets users listen to the ABC in the comfort of their own home.
