The video of a man making a video about the death of his beloved pet dog has gone viral.
The video, which shows a dog lying on its back on the street in a hospital bed after being hit by a car, has sparked debate about dog welfare and its impact on the community.
But the man in the video, whose name has not been released, says the video was meant to help save the dog and the city of Odisha.
In the video posted on Facebook, the man said he had been driving down a road in Odisha when he was hit by an SUV.
The man said his dog, named Kish, was sitting on his back when the SUV hit him, and Kish had already died.
In a Facebook post, the video’s creator said the dog had died in the accident and that his dog was a “toy” and was only a toy.
“My dog Kish was just a toy, he was not worth anything to me, he never wanted to be loved,” he said.
“We wanted to save animals from being killed by people.
Now, all of a sudden, my dog’s corpse is in the hospital.”
In the wake of the video being shared on social media, Odisha Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said the man had been arrested.
“I am shocked and saddened that a man has killed Kish and left him to die in the city’s hospitals,” he wrote on Twitter.
The post has since been shared more than 11,000 times.
In another post on Facebook , Sarkar called for the man to be charged.
“The man responsible for this murder should be arrested,” he tweeted.
“Kish was a pet, a pet who had a special purpose and purpose was a part of the people’s life, the community and the country,” he added.
“He is a beloved family member.
Kish should be given the honour of living.””
I would also like to express my deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones of Kish,” the Chief Minister said.
The Odisha Veterinary Medical Society has confirmed Kish died from a head injury.
The police have not released any details about the man’s identity or condition.
